How it works
1. Choose your photo
A close-up of a face in good light works best. Try it free on our “Try with your photo” page — you'll see the string art in seconds.
2. Order your kit
Upload your photo before you order, or choose to upload it after delivery. Pay cash when the kit arrives.
3. Scan the card
Every box has a card with a scratch-off code and a QR code. Scan it with your phone camera to open your project.
4. Follow the steps
Tie the thread to pin 0, then follow the guide: it shows and reads out each step, like “from 14, to 210”. The numbered ring on the board helps you find each pin. Your pattern is about 3,000 steps.
5. Hang it up
Tie off on the last pin, trim the thread, and your portrait is ready for the wall.
